February Lip Monthly Unboxing

I was super happy with my January Lip Monthly bag (read my review here) so I decided to stay for another month!

I think this month's bag is super cute with the leopard print!

Cosmoholic Gloss

I have never heard of this brand before and unfortunately there is no shade name on the packaging. However, this is a nice brown-nude colour and the lip gloss has a nice MAC vanilla scent to it. I don't like that this gloss is super sticky. The colour payoff is great!

Model Co Lipstick in Truffle

I have had Model Co lipsticks before and I have enjoyed them. This lipstick seems to be a moisturizing lipstick as it has a balm like feel to it! This colour is also a dusty brown-nude which I think is really pretty. It has a very sweet scent to it.

Cargo Eyeshadow in Shanghal

My big issue with Lip Monthly before my January bag was the fact that they claim to be a monthly lip product bag but they were sending other products like haircare. However, I'm making an exception for this product! I have never owned a Cargo eyeshadow so I was super excited to see this in the bag. This eyeshadow looks to be brown with a purple shift to it, which is just beautiful. The eyeshadow seems to have good colour payoff and it isn't powdery.

SUGAR Matte Lip Pencil in 03 Poison Ivy

I have never heard of the brand SUGAR before but I am super excited for this lip product. This is a beautiful berry red colour that seems to be very pigmented. I personally really enjoy matte lip pencil as I find them very easy to use and great for on the go application.

That's everything in my Lip Monthly bag! I'm rating this bag a solid 3.5 out of 4 stars! I really liked everything but this bag lost half a star because of the gloss. I really like the colour but it's way to sticky for me to wear (and not knowing the shade name is annoying).

Do you subscribe to LipMonthly? What did you get in your February bag?

Stay Beautiful,
Sarah

Raspberry Mint Review

Raspberry Mint is a Canadian brand made by a registered nurse, Cherish. Raspberry Mint was created on Cherish's need for more natural products and ones with less chemicals! The products are also not tested on animals and includes no parabens. This brand is also leaping bunny approved!!

Lip Moisturizer in Strawberry

This is an all natural lip moisturizer/lip gloss. There is only four ingredients in this product; coconut oil, grapeseed oil, hemp seed oil and natural flavour oils. I really like this product as it adds moisture and shine to the lips. I was afraid of it being listed as a gloss that it would be super sticky but it's not! I really liked wearing this product on no makeup makeup days as it would give my lips an amazing shine. Also, the strawberry scent is amazing!

Makeup Remover in Raspberry

I love using an oil as a makeup remover as it helps my dry skin. This makeup remover only has two ingredients; organic olive oil (extra virgin) and natural flavour oil, how amazing is that?! This makeup removing oil did remove my makeup well but I found the oil itself to be a little thick for my liking. Also, although the raspberry smells amazing, I personally don't like using scented products on my face as it is so sensitive.

Body Oil in Strawberry

Not only do I love using oils on my face but I also love using oils on my body! The body oil has six ingredients in it; organic coconut oil, grapeseed oil, organic argan oil, organic jojoba oil, organic hemp seed oil and natural flavour oil. This body oil is amazing!!! I love that it is in a spray bottle making it super easy to use! This body oil also soaks into the skin quickly and leaves my skin feeling moisturized. The smell is also amazing.

Overall, I think this is an amazing Canadian brand! It seems like Cherish is also adding more products and different product lines which is exciting!

Cherish was also super kind and gave me a coupon code to share with you all! The code is grand50 which gives you 50% off your purchase! The coupon code expires March 31!!

Stay Beautiful,
Sarah

Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip and Liner Review

For those of you who don't know, I am a HUGE value set lover especially the Sephora Favorites ones! I recently picked up the Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip and Liner set (which is unfortunately not available online anymore). This is a multi-brand kit featuring lip products in a variety of colours and 4 different liners. I paid 72 dollars Canadian.

Benefit Cosmetics They're Real double the lip in Fuchsia Fever

This is a lipstick and liner in one. I really enjoy the colour of this product, however, this 2-in-1 idea seems a tad gimmicky. I also feel like it may be hard to get a defined edge with the liner. This product is not a full size.

Buxom Full-on Lip Cream in Kir Royale

I have tried this product in a different colour and have enjoyed the formula! I am super excited to try this product again in a dark colour. The Kir Royale shade is described as a rich wine which I think suits this colour. This product is not a full size.

Ciate London Liquid Velvet in Voodoo

This product is a matte liquid lipstick but it also claims to be moisturizing. The colour payoff of this product is incredible. I love this dark colour and because it is such a dark colour with intense pigmentation, I like that it is liquid lipstick form. This product is not a full size.

Estee Edit Lip Flip Shade Transformer in 02 Turn Down

This product takes any full coverage lip product and darkens it. I think the concept of this product is great but I have yet to try it over an actual lipstick. This product is matte and also comes in a yellow shade which is supposed to be brightening. This product is full size.

Know Cosmetics No Bleeding Lips Secret Lip Liner

This is a clear lip liner which is supposed to create an invisible line around the lips. I have had this product before and I liked the fact that it matched every lipstick. However, I'm not 100 % sure if it did a great job at keep my lipstick from feathering. This product is full size.

Laura Mercier Lip Pencil in Naked

I have never used a Laura Mercier lip liner before but I am excited for this product! When I swatched it, this lip pencil had amazing application and colour payoff. I also really like the colour of this liner. This product is full size.

Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge in M-401 Mat

This is a beautiful, almost classic, red colour. Although this product is matte, it didn't feel dry when I swatched it on my hand and the colour pay off was incredible. I haven't tried any MUFE lipsticks before. This product is not full size.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Enamored Hi Shine Lip Lacquer in Pretty Thing

Although this gloss is a beautiful dusty rose colour, it has my biggest pet peeve when it comes to glosses, it is super sticky! This product is not full size.

Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella

I love the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencils, I personally own a few, this colour being one of them. I love the ease of use with this product and the colour payoff is great. I also like that these lip pencils are not super drying on the lips either. Since I have this colour already, it will be paced a long to a friend. This product is not full size.

Smashbox Always Sharp Lip Liner in Crimson

This lip liner has a sharpener built right into the cap so every time you twist the cap on, it sharpens the lip pencil giving you a perfect point every time. I like the idea of the always sharp pencil however it does seem a tad wasteful as I can sometimes get a few uses out of the pencil before having to sharpen it again. The true red colour of this pencil is beautiful and the colour payoff is good. This product is full size.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso

I can't remember if I have tried a Stila liquid lipstick before. This colour is a true red colour that has amazing colour payoff. This product is not a full size.

Tarte Tartiest Lip Crayon in Mood Ring

This lip pencil is part of Tarte's new Tartiest line. When I tried to swatch this liner, it was very hard to twist up and I found the product itself to be very dry and hard. This product is not a full size.

Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick in Sell Out

This is a described as a soft pinky-brown colour. I can't wait to try this colour, I'm currently searching for my perfect nude! This product is not full size.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture in Number 70

I always really like YSL lipsticks, I have a bunch of the Oil in Stick. This lipstick looks like a really pretty nude colour which again, I can't wait to try! This product is not full size.

Overall, I am really happy I purchased this kit as there are some shades, formulas and new innovations that I have yet to try. However, I am a bit disappointed that most of the full size items are the lip liners.

Have you purchased this kit? What are your thoughts on it? Also, any recommendations for nude lipsticks?

Sarah
