August Boxycharm Unboxing

I found out that  Boxycharm now ships to Canada so of course I jumped on it quickly. I signed up around the end of August and I was sent the August Box which was surprising to me as I subscribed really late in the month! Let's unbox this!

August's theme was express yourself! I love how they include what the products are, tips on how to use the included products and the price of the products on the card.

Aloette Time Repair Serum

I have heard of this brand before! My mom is a huge fan of the Aloette skincare line and since this serum is supposed to help with lines and wrinkles, I will most likely pass this product along to her. The Aloette line is really great skincare line!

Amplilash Amplimascara

This is a mascara serum that is supposed to create full and thick lashes. According to the claims this product should be long wearing, flake proof, smudge proof, volumizing, lengthening and curling! This product is made by the same company that makes the Makeup Eraser.

Tatcha Japanese Beauty Papers

These are oil absorbing sheets that won't remove makeup or take moisture away from the skin. These sheets are also fragrance free and powder free. I don't have oily skin so I may have to pass these along.

Dirty Little Secret Velvet Mate Lipstick in Phantom

This matte lipstick is in a beautiful red colour. This lipstick doesn't dry down the fastest but I think it's worth it for the colour payoff. I have heard of this brand before as I got one of their regular lipsticks in an Ipsy. It's nice to see that their products remain consistent.

Ofra Makeup Palette + Six Shadows

I was not expecting this in my box at all but I am so happy that I received it. The palette is like a Z palette, I always think these palettes are always good to have. There are six shadows included - all neutrals which I think is perfect! I will say that I am a bit disappointed with the pigmentation of the lightest shade called Buttercup. Overall, I am impressed with the quality and pigmentation of the rest of the eyeshadows.

I paid almost 35 dollars Canadian for this box (price of the box + shipping + exchange rate) and I 100% believe this box was worth it as it is valued at 132 USD (according to the card that came with the box!) I can't wait to see what is in the September box.

Do you subscribe to Boxycharm? How did you feel about August's box?

Stay beautiful,
Sarah

    1. Right?! I don't have a lot of single shadows, I may have an excuse to buy more...
