Disappointing Products

I have five products here that I am not happy with. There are many reasons that make me deem a product disappointing. Just because these products didn't work for me, does not mean these product won't work for you, I am simply just giving me opinion.

Rimmel Radiance BB Cream

I wrote a full review on this product for Product Review Mom (here). In short (without giving to much away), this BB cream did not do anything it claimed it would and it was very hard to blend out into a nice even finish.





Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara

I was very excited to try this product even with the crazy over sized brush. After using it a few times, this product started to become chunky and very hard to blend. The brush was okay, a little oversized, but it was easy to use. The color was way to dark for my brows and the light color was too light for my brows, making me wish for a better color selection.

Anastasia Clear Brow Gel

This product made my brows feel like they were super glued to my face. This brow gel made sure my brows did NOT move. Although, most people want this, I didn't like the way my brows felt, they felt hard and crunchy. This product also smells terrible.





Amazing Cosmetics Face Primer

This face primer is supposedly for anti-aging but I decided to use it anyway. This product made my skin burn and once I got through the burning sensation, this product did nothing to make my makeup last longer or go on smoother.

Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer

I have heard that this product gives incredible full coverage but every time I used it, this product never covered or concealed anything. I tried using a small amount at first and gradually used a larger amount until I just couldn't handle this product anymore.




These are all the products I am disappointed with. What products have you tried and ended up being disappointed with?

Disappointing Products

Today, I am sharing some disappointing products I have found. Just because I don't like these products or because these products didn't work for me, does not mean that they won't work for you. I am just sharing my opinion. I only have two products to share.



The "Dropper"

Maybelline Dream Wonder Liquid Touch Foundation

I really enjoyed the texture of this product and the fact that it was Buildable. The color matched me perfectly as well. However, I didn't like the way you had to apply this product. This foundation has a dropper, so you are supposed to drop the foundation onto your fingers and apply the foundation with your fingers. I absolutely hate using my fingers to apply foundation.
I would 'drop' the foundation on to my fingers, bad my fingers on to my face and then use my beauty blender to blend the foundation out. What makes this foundation a disappointing product is the fact that it broke me out.


Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation

I raved about this product here. However, after using it multiple times, I have come to find I am not as in love with it as I thought. I do find that this foundation is very lightweight and it did keep me matte in the summer. However, this foundation makes my skin very dry. I can use it every once in awhile but when I start using it every day, it really sucks the moisture out of my already dry skin.

Disappoitning Products

Like any other beauty blogger/vlogger I have come across products I love and products I dislike. Today, I am sharing products that I didn't like, product that I think aren't worth the hype and products that aren't worth the money. These products may work for you and that's great! I m just sharing my own experiences with them.


Benefit's Push Up Gel Liner

I got a sample of this with a Sephora order I placed and I am so happy it was free. I did not like this liner at all! I find the flex applicator tip hard to use and I also found too much product came out, even when I followed the instructions down to the least letter. I also found that this liner clumped up on my eye lids. I'm going to continue testing this product but so far I am highly disappointed.

Essence Felt Tip Eyeliner Pen

I found this liner at my local Shoppers Drug Mart and it was only three dollars Canadian. Although the price tag is great, the product isn't. This liner smudged so easily and I found that it turned grey in color after a few minutes, even though it is supposed to be black. I also found the felt tip applicator really hard in texture. It wasn't bendable like the Stila Stay All Day liquid liner or like the Maybelline Line Stiletto liner.




Say Yes to Cucumber Facial Wipes

I found these facial wipes at my local Shoppers Drug Mart as well and although the price was a little high, in my opinion, but it was worth it to me because these wipes have more natural ingredients compared to other facial wipes. The smell of these wipes was okay, not pleasant but not horrendous. I was using these wipes to remove my eye make up and to remove the surface of my face make up before I went in with my cleanser. Unfortunately these wipes sent my skin into an uproar. I started having major break outs and my skin went super dry and flakey.



Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm

I was excited to try this product and to use for those light make up days. I am so happy I bought the travel size because this beauty balm turned my skin orange! I looked like an oompa loompa. The product was straight orange from the moment I put it on my skin. I am not happy with this at all.





Physicians Formula Organic Wear in the Color Fair to Light

I found this product in the clearance bin at my local Shoppers Drug Mart. The color was a perfect match and it was supposed to have a light to medium coverage. However, this product was super watery and to get to medium coverage, I felt like I had to use half of the bottle. This product did hate a weird scent that did bother my nose when I would first apply it. This foundation also made my skin breakout terribly.




These all of my disappointing products, until I find more. Do any of you have disappointing products? Are any of these products must haves in your make up bag?
